About Us

The Singapore Watch Club

The Singapore Watch Club was founded on 31st October 2015 when a few watch geeks who met on Instagram got together and bonded over beer and the rest is history. Since then, SWC has blossomed into a full-fledged horological community: A friendly fraternity of passionate people coming together to share their appreciation of watches.

We believe watch collecting is most rewarding when done in company. Growing our collection and our knowledge alongside our friendship. Our members come from all walks of life, brought together by one common denominator: our love for the art of watchmaking.

SWC was created to be an affable fellowship and we have 3 core values we adhere to: Passion, Sincerity and Humility. The doors of SWC are always open to earnest and modest horology enthusiasts.

Home of The Singapore Watch Club

The Singapore Watch Club is proud to call The Fullerton Heritage its home. Both The Fullerton Hotel and The Fullerton Bay Hotel are historic and sumptuous landmarks of Singapore. Located in the heart of the city centre, both icons are obvious preferred venues for Singapore Watch Club activities.

The magnificent Fullerton Building is a grand Neo-classical landmark built in 1928. Gazetted in December 2015 as a National Monument, it was once home to Singapore’s General Post Office, the Exchange Room and Exchange Reference Library, and the prestigious Singapore Club. For nearly a century, it has played a pivotal role in Singapore’s rich history. Today, it has been transformed into a stunning 400-room heritage hotel.
